Thirteen dedicated employees from CL&P participated in a United Way of Northwest Connecticut sponsored Power of Caring Event on Friday, September 20th. Volunteers from CL&P’s Torrington and Berlin work centers spent the day at the Boy Scouts’ Camp Workcoeman in New Hartford. The delightful weather was perfect for painting the exterior of two small houses and performing yard work as the summer season drew to a close.

“Our volunteers are thrilled to be part of this meaningful project that will make a difference for the Boy Scouts,” said Bill Herdegen, President and COO of CL&P.  “We appreciate the opportunity to be part of a major project that benefits this great organization.”
