Operation Fuel

Summer Assistance - OperationFuel is accepting applications for the Summer Season Utility Assistance Program.  The program provides a cash grant of up to $500 (paid directly to the utility) to help income eligible households that are in an emergency situation.  Assistance is for gas or electric utilities only and specific eligibility criteria applies.

Winter Assistance - The Connecticut Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) has started early intake for winter heating assistance.  Applications are available through Community Action Agencies.  Assistance covers oil, gas, electric, propane, wood, coal and kerosene heat.
