Food Drive Making Gains

Many thanks to employees at O & G Industries, who contributed 433 items to Food For Your Neighbors today--a nice haul, though not enough to outdo Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, which has donated 462 items to date!  The total count is now at 1,459, so we have a long way to go.  Remember, the drive ends next Friday, but the "depot" behind the Register at 59 Field Street will be open to accept donations on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, March 17-19, between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. Volunteers will be standing by to accept your donations! Donations are also accepted at the United Way office on Bird Street, and if necessary, call the United Way office at 860-489-4341 to arrange a pickup at your business.  We hope that you'll help us make our annual food drive a big success.
