Susan Suhanovsky, President of the
Torrington Water Company, is leading the United Way of Northwest Connecticut Residential Division for the second year. Her Co-Chairs in this effort are Bill Riiska, Esq. and Katherine Marchand-Beyer, Director of Community Support at LARC.
Susan, who lives in Torrington, has been a United Way Board member since 2009 and currently serves as Treasurer. She was a Commercial Division Co-Chair from 2007-2011. She's Past President and current Director of the CT Waterworks Association, Director of the New England National Association of Water Companies, and Director of the National Association of Water Companies.

Attorney Riiska has been a United Way Board member since 2009 and is a long-time volunteer for the Legal and Residential Divisions covering the Salisbury and Lakeville area. He's an active participant in the Leader's Circle Event Committee, and is currently a Board Liaison for Community Mental Health Affiliates and Cornwall Child Center. A graduate of the Albany School of Law, he's a past member of the Norfolk P&Z Commission, advises the Chamber of Commerce regarding government relations and serves on the Salisbury Democratic Town Committee.

A life-long Torrington resident, Marchand-Beyer has been an active volunteer since 2002 and served in a Cabinet level position since 2007. She's been employed at
LARC for 39 years, where she's the Director of Community Support and is also Director of Camp Moe.
