- The United Way of Northwest Connecticut is a collection point for Operation Fuzzy Wuzzy II. Stuffed animals can be brought or mailed to 16 Bird Street, Torrington, CT 06790. Donations will be accepted through Thursday, December 27th. Holiday office hours are: Dec. 18-20, 8-5 p.m., 8 to noon on Dec. 21, closed Dec 24-26, and 8-5 on Thursday, Dec. 27
