Red Cross Seeks Nominations

The American Red Cross is accepting nominations of local community heroes to be honored at one of their five Heroes Breakfasts in Connecticut. There are ten categories of nominations. Nominations will be accepted until December 31, 2012.

Who qualifies as a hero? It could be a firefighter who rescued a trapped family -- someone who acts as a Good Samaritan -- a neighbor who performs CPR, just to give a few examples.  The event must have occurred in 2012, and nominees must live or work in Connecticut.
