2-1-1 Infoline, a free 24/7 referral service, received 4,827 calls for information or assistance between January 1st and September 30th of this year. The breakdown of calls for the United Way of Northwest CT region is as follows: Utilities - 606, Financial Help - 532, Housing - 490, Mental Health Care - 416, Public Assistance Programs - 393, Information Services - 306, Substance Abuse - 302, Legal Aid - 263, Heath Support Services - 183, Food - 164, Individual and Family Support - 125, Transportation - 114, Tax Help - 99, Employment Training - 98, and Benefits Screening - 70.
